Frederick Smiles Dental Care offers two types of teeth whitening: Zoom! in-office whitening and custom bleaching trays for at-home whitening.
Zoom Teeth Whitening
The Zoom! Whitening System is one of the most popular in-office tooth whitening systems. It is safe, effective, and fast. The scientifically advanced process removes years of stains from substances such as coffee, tea, colas, tobacco, red wine, and the gradual discoloration of normal aging. Almost anyone can benefit from Zoom whitening.
How Does Zoom Whitening Work?
The Zoom process uses a light activated pH-balanced Hydrogen Peroxide gel that gently penetrates teeth to break down deep stain in the enamel. The simple procedure takes just over an hour to complete, rather than weeks of at-home tray treatments. The procedure concludes with a five-minute fluoride treatment.
After the procedure, you can keep your smile it’s whitest with basic dental care, brushing twice daily and flossing, and an occasional touch-up with Zoom Take Home Gel for a whiter sparkle for years.
At Home Tooth Whitening
At-home whitening is now easy, safe and effective. Our at-home whitening system uses a mild bleaching solution in a custom-fitted tray that is worn over your teeth at night or during the day.
Most patients see results after the first application and get maximum results in 10 to 14 days. A whiter, brighter smile can make a huge improvement in your smile and once you’ve whitened your teeth, they will always be lighter.
The degree of whiteness varies from patient to patient, and our doctors can determine if you’re a viable candidate.
