An Accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Frederick dentist Nils W. Olson, DDS, FAACD, MAGD, brings exceptional skill, experience and an artistic eye to the field of aesthetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Olson and his staff use the latest technology and treatments available.

Dr. Olson is the only Accredited AACD dentist in the Frederick regional area and one of only a handful in the entire state of Maryland. He is also one of fewer than 50 dentists in the world with Fellowship status in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. As distinctive as these accomplishments seem, there is much more to his credentials.

After serving for a number of years as an examiner for Accreditation with the Academy, he has been chosen as the Chairperson of Accreditation for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In this position, Dr. Olson oversees and directs the Accreditation process. This represents a great deal of trust by his peers in the excellence of his clinical work and in his judgment.

He is also one of only four dentists in the world who are simultaneously Accredited Fellows in the AACD and Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry.
